Get Ready for the 2nd Annual Rocktoberfest! Rocktoberfest is a music festival fundraiser featuring a variety of bands, Oktoberfest-inspired food and drinks, and entertainment for all.

Don't miss the 2nd Annual Rocktoberfest on Sunday, October 1st in Taylor Park from 10:00 am - 7:00 pm. There will be something for everyone at this fun-filled community celebration.

  • The day will kick off at 10:00 am with a “Fun Run” and "Expo" in Taylor Park 
  • NYU Tandon School of Engineering will host a hands-on K-12 STEAM  (Science Technology Engineering Arts & Mathematics) Expo. 
  • Musical workshops: If your kids love music, they can participate in the various workshops/classes being held by Music and More (music class for kids ages 0-5), Front & Center Performing Arts School (musical theater/dance), So.i.Heard House of Music (music production/songwriting/DJ activities), a music therapy workshop for special needs students, Songs for Seeds (music for ages 0-5), First Floor Fairytales, and Soulfege (A Capella singing). 
  • Arts & Crafts activities will be hosted by Farbrook School, Hedwig Gruenwald Early Childhood Center for pre-school aged children, The Renaissance Art Studio (fine art workshop), and Jhana Fine Jewelry (jewelry-making workshop).
  • Other activities: Millburn Institute of Talent (traditional Chinese Culture workshop) and Joe Gill Home Remodeling (“Joe the Builder” teaches the science inside your house hands-on).
  • Oktoberfest-inspired food and beverages will be available the entire day including a fabulous beer and wine garden.
  • There will be giveaways, as well as tie-dye tee shirts and other merchandise for sale.
  • Children will enjoy face painting, hair braiding, balloon animals, airbrush and henna tattoos, a photo booth, volleyball, other fall festival games and UNLIMITED INFLATABLE RIDES. $20 per person. Accompanying adults are free for the expo and morning activities.

This outdoor event is free and open to the public. All on-site purchases will benefit The Education Foundation of Millburn-Short Hills.
